Mike Holmes is Chief Marketing Officer for Avantax Wealth Management℠, responsible for growing and supporting the company’s community of Financial Professionals and building the Avantax brand.
Mike joined Avantax in 2021, bringing nearly 30 years of financial services marketing experience with companies such as USAA, Wells Fargo, Wachovia, and KeyBank. His expertise in brand strategy, campaign development and data-driven marketing is complemented by leadership experience in areas ranging from sales planning and forecasting to risk and compliance. A “practical marketer,” he builds partnerships across the organization that ensure marketing is an integral and value-generating part of the company’s strategy and performance.
Mike earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee.
